LuggageTribe is a technology marketplace that connects people who need to move items with approved members who already have available capacity while traveling along compatible routes.
Instead of creating an entirely separate trip to move an item, LuggageTribe is designed to make better use of transportation capacity that already exists.
A member traveling from one location to another may post a Journey and indicate the capacity they have available. Another member who needs to move an eligible item along a compatible route may create a Shipment Request and discover available journeys.
LuggageTribe provides the technology that helps members discover one another, evaluate potential matches, communicate, coordinate eligible shipments, make or receive payments where applicable, and manage the transaction through the platform.
